Bobcat Goldthwait is a comedian, actor, screenwriter, and film and television director from Syracuse, NY. He is commonly known for his energetic, rabid stage personality, his dark, acerbic humor, and his high-pitched voice. He does not do the voice anymore. He enjoyed a long standup comedy career from the age of 15 and has appeared in many films and TV shows, where he once set a chair on fire. As a filmmaker he has created the cult institutions Shakes the Clown (1992), Windy City Heat (2004) and Stay (2006, released as Sleeping Dogs Lie), which premiered in competition at the Sundance Film Festival.
