Chicago-based filmmaker James Fotopoulos has made more than 90 films and videos. In 1998 he formed the production company Fantasma Inc. His work has been screened at many national and international venues, including The Walker Art Center, The Andy Warhol Museum, Anthology Film Archives, The New York Underground Film Festival, The Rotterdam International Film Festival, and many others. He recently participated in both the exhibition and film screening of the 2004 Whitney Biennial and has been written about and interviewed in several publications. In 2003 Facets Video released his first three features on DVD.
